Fashion Illustrator Laura Laine introduces us to another form of fashion or rather art. Fashion is a form of art! Art can be displayed in many ways; we have all seen art displayed on paper, as musical notes, on walls and on our bodies. Painting is no different from fashion, the clothes and accessories we wear are synonymous to the paint and the paint brushes and our bodies represent the canvas. Both painting and fashion are forms of art just expressed differently.
Posh felt we needed to introduce you guys to another side of fashion. Fashion illustrations are simply representations or designs of a garment which also serves as a form of art. Laure Laine's art is amazing, not only has she digressed from traditional fashion illustrations which main purpose is to showcase designs for a garment but she has also transformed fashion illustration mainly into art. Her ability to mix real life images with pencil drawings shows how innovative and creative she is.. Enjoy!
