To all the little girls that were ever told the Cinderella story wasn't true, well this wedding definitely proves that Cinderella does exist and its Kate Middleton! The ONLY difference is this Cinderella was already a millionaire. From the white horses, to the red carriage, our Cinderella definitely had a beautiful royal wedding with people cheering and waving flags at the sight of her. Posh Culture watched the wedding live from our living room as we "awwwwed" and "aaaaaaahed" at this remarkable event. Now, because we are a fashion blog, we cant help but talk about the fashion that got us going CRAZY!!! The star designers of this event were Alexander McQueen for the Duchess's wedding dress and Phillip Treacy for the numerous hats worn by the guests.
The Wedding Dress
Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen did an incredible job with the dress, it was definitely fit for a princess. The beautiful french lace, the v-neck line that wasn't too revealing and the satin embodied with more lace at the bottom. This dress was phenomenal!
The Hats
Posh Culture couldn't get enough of the hats worn by the guests to the wedding and Phillip Treacy was the designer of most of these hats. He gets an A+ for creativity and diversity because no two hats looked the same and we sat at the edge of our seats every time we saw a Philip hat coming through!
By the way the Cathedral was absolutely beautiful!!
This event was the wedding of the decade and tells us that every girl can definitely have a Cinderella story with her prince on her side!! Sigh
The pleasure is ours,
